VK KODIAK DEBARKER AT A NEW SAWMILL IN MISSISSIPPI

Mission Forest Products has built a new, high-tech, state-of-the-art sawmill in Corinth, Mississippi, USA. The sawmill processes high-quality pine sawlogs with an annual output capacity of about 250 million board feet of lumber (~590,000 m³). The sawmill’s initial startup investment included the dual rotor VK Kodiak 622 debarker to meet their demands.

The mill’s ownership had prior operations with VK North America through Angelina Forest Products in Lufkin, Texas. Based upon the other Kodiak debarkers’ past exceptional performances, the VK Kodiak 622 dual rotor debarker became the obvious choice. It can debark 500 plus feet per minute (over 150 m/min), thus processing up to 12 tree-length logs per minute.

All performance criteria have been met by the Kodiak 622 debarker to support Mission Forest Products’ ever-growing industry with supply and demand.

In addition, we can guarantee faster part deliveries from our spare parts warehouse in Saltillo”, Charlie adds.
